Lucy oragnises library events like the mini Street-Festival, secured funding to continue a homework club, been instrumental in setting up a town steering group to work positively with teenagers, organised an Open Day event for babies, Family Learning workshops and a speed-dating event.

“ I absolutely love working in libraries. It’s the people who make it such a good job. I’m never doing the same thing day-in, day-out. It’s totally creative. There’s always someone interesting to talk to and share things with. In what other job do you get to advocate the thing you’re most passionate about? It’s my dream job. And I get to smile all day long! ”
